During the past few days Lasercomb did install in the plant of Rota Laser, Aprilia a Lasercomb Lasermachine Type PTS 3020 R DC 020 for the cutting of flatbed- as well as rotary dies. Die newly installed PTS is equipped with the additional technoloy for steel-cutting. The installed milling unit allows the milling of pockets for the placement of embossing dies on the rotary shell as welll as milling the position holes over which the sheel is fixed to the rotary cylinder in the rotary diecutting machine.
Lasercomb did recently install a CLS 2115 DC 010 Lasermachine in the newly set up China based factory of KDS, Korea
Prior to the Lasercomb Open House 2010 the agents and sales partner of Lasercomb were invited to attend the Sales Meeting 2010 at the A-Teck Hotel, Kirchheim/Teck. During the meeting the agents and partners did receive a briefing on the latest developments done.
Lasercomb just finished at Seoul Laser the installation of a ProDigi 2517. Beside the standard tooling for cutting and creasing of folding carton, corrugated board, compact grey carton the ProDigi 2517 is equipped with the following special tools:
* Oscillating cutting unit to cut rubber, Vulkolan, materials which are used to rubber up a dieboard.
*1KW Milling Spindle for the milling of air-channels into the bottom side of a dieboard.
Those special dieboards are used in the diecutting process for components like large screen monitors, thus making the electronic industry the most common purchaser of such dies

Boxplan placed a order over 2 Lasercomb DigiSetter for the customers ACA, UK and Özkardesler, Turkey.
The Digisetter is a special machine for the automatic placement and setting of stripping pins into a stripping die.
Boxplan is attaching the special pin-setting head to a machine frame supplied by Lasercomb.

At the plant of Seoul Laser, Korea, Lasercomb did install now a 3rd lasermachine. After 2 installed CLS 1712 DC 010 lasermachines the customer did now order a large format CLS 2317 DC 020 Lasermachine for the cutting of large-format, high precise dies used in the electronic industry. Equipped with special features and functions Seoul Laser`s new lasermachine can now fullfill the needs and demands of the Korean Electronic Industry.
Majan Printing, UAE - longtime customer of Lasercomb did extend the Lasercomb machines in use with the installation of a ProDigi - Samplemaker. After the set-up of a inhouse dieshop with a Lasercomb CLS 1712 lasermachine, one HSP-Plotter with pertinax milling capacity, a network of Impact-workstations and the installation of a rule processor the capacity of the sample department was now increased with the installation of the ProDigi-Samplemaker.

ProAquaJet - Lasercomb`s waterjet for cutting open and closed cell-rubber, foam, vulkolan which is used for preparing die-boards. The ProAquaJet can be used further in production areas to cut foam, styrofoam materials for producing inner-packing to secure electronic components, television sets, etc. during transport
ProPertinax - Lasercomb`s 4 spindle pertinax milling machine used in dieshops, folding carton plants to mill pertinax for dieboards which have to be delivered with a set of counters. Inhouse die-shops in folding carton plants very often use the ProPertinax for pertinax counter production on a just in time environment.
ProCount - Lasercomb`s large format heavy duty milling machine for steel counter plates as well as for high volume production of pertinax dies. Customers can choose from a wide range of routing spindels selected on their production demands. The ProCount offers a dry milling process for pertinax and/or steel, however for steel counter plate production a fine mist lubrication system can be integrated to reduce the wear on the routers and for cooling during the milling process.
ProMill - based on the ProDigi frame the machine was modified to chamfer female stripping dies automatically. Normally this process is done manually using a hand-held grinding device.
ProRuleCut - Lasercomb`s latest development for the rule processing process in a dieshop. Designed to produce with a central rule processing unit all the cutting and creasing rules needed for the die-production the ProRuleCut offers the following functions:
Cutting of cutting and creasing rules
Notching of cutting and creasing rules
Lipping of cutting and creasing rules
Bending marks for further manual or automatic rule bending
Production of customized perforation rules by using standard rule material
Dual/paralell use of standart 1m rule material and material from coils, automatic change from 1 m pieces to coil material and vice versa
Stacking system for processed rules into boxes or cartriges for further processing on a rule bender
Lasercomb`s own rule procssing software LVS 2010 is used in the ProRuleCut for rule preperation
The ProRuleCut comes with additional unique features like:
Crash protect system on the gripper-system which delivers the rules into the machine
Crash protect system to prevent collisions of rules with the tool-cassettes
Constant monitoring of rule-height and rule thickness
New cutting technology using a supercompact planetary roller spindel drive with high power density, precision dynamics and optimum control quality.
PTS 3020 R with RofinSinar DC 030 - 3000 Watt Lasersource
Lasercomb will be the first manufacturer of laser-machines used for diemaking who will display a 3000 Watt Lasersource for a industrial diecutting process. Only the use of a new state of the art digital drive system controlled with a Eckelmann Touch Screen Controller will allow the use of a 3000 Watt Lasersource for a high-speed, high-accuracy and high-quality diecutting process.
MTL 1530 with 750 Watt PRC-Lasersource
For the first time Lasercomb will use the Open House 2010 to present a PRC 750 Watt Lasersource mounted to a MTL-Lasermachine. PRC a well-known manufacturer of laser-sources is part of the Rofin Sinar Group of companies
Impact-Software for Box and DieDesign
Together with Arden Software, Lasercomb`s long term partner for the promotion and development of the wellknown Impact-Software, Lasercomb will lauch and present the new Impact 2010 Software.
In addition web.cnx and Enterprise Solutions will be demonstrated and introduced.

KDS, Seoul based manufacturer of dies did place an order with Lasercomb for his new factory located in the Shanghai area/China. The new Lasercomb CLS 2317 DC 010 will be delivered by airfreight to Shanghai.
Lasercomb announces the launch of the new ProRuleCut - RuleProcessingSystem in the ESU-Magazine, the quarterly magazine of the European Diemakers Association.

Located in Sofia and producing dies for the bulgarian market, Teknolazer took the delivery of a MTL 1521 Lasermachine. Lasercomb replaced an existing machine frame and did integrate the existing Rofin Sinar SM-Lasersource into the new laser-system.

Gerdins Dies located in Mjällom, Sweden did see the installation of a CLS 2515 DC 020 Lasercomb Lasermachine for the cutting of dieboards. The CLS 2515 has a enlarged working area of 2500 x 1500 mm. The existing, old Lasercomb lasermachine Type MTS 2015 WB 1250 was relocated to another diemaker in Europa and will there perform cutting dieboards in the years to come.

Lasercomb`s longterm customer in Seoul and already using 2 CLS 1712 DC 010 Lasermachines did place an order for a CLS 2317 DC 015 lasermachine. The type 2317 - working area 2300 x 1700 was deliberately choosen to produce large format dies for the electronic industry.

Mid Jan. 2010 Lasercomb did install at the factory site of Hankook Dies, Korea the 2nd PTS-Lasercutting System for flatbed- and rotary dies. Back in the year 2000 Hankook did receive the 1st. Lasercomb PTS.
As you can see from attached picture the machines are installed side by side after some modifications to the existing building. The newly equipped PTS-Lasermachine is equipped with a 2000 Watt Rofin Sinar Lasersource, Prezitec-Nozzle, Crash Protect, Quick-Mount to prepare on an external mounting rack the rotary shells for the cutting process.

Aleppo, Syria, the location and home-town of Marashlian Dies is now the new home for a Lasercomb CLS 2115 DC 015 Lasermachine as well as of a ProDigi 1613 SampleTable/Plotter. More than 150 Lasercomb-Moving Table Lasermachines are working worldwide in the daily dieboard production. Most of those machines are equipped with Rofin Sinar Lasersources of the type DC 010, Dc 015 and DC 020.
Lasercomb`s first customer for a laser-machine in China did extend his production-capacity and installed a CLS 2115 DC 020. The new Lasermachine is equipped with a 2000 Watt Rofin Sinar SlabLasersource, PrezitecNozzle, CrashProtect. After installation, test-run and training of the operators the machine was handed over to SJL.
Located in Hongkong and acting as Broker and Consulatant for the packaging industry, Rondabosh did invest into a package of Impact Design Software in combination with Lasercomb SampleTable/Plotter Type ProDigi 1613

At the plant of Moutsiaras Dies Lasercomb did recently install a Lasercomb MTL 1521 DC015 lasermachine. After installation, trial-run and training the machine was handed over to the customer.
